When 9-year-old Liam Farrell, nicknamed “Liam Bōbiam”, first started drawing, he had no idea that he had the power to change lives. But that is just what he has done. Bill Farrell, Liam’s father, remembers the potential in a particular drawing of an alien Liam had created, which he would later name “Bōbiam”. “It was not just a regular doodle,” he said. Inspired by their son’s drawings, the Farrell’s started producing shirts featuring their son’s artwork. There was no denying that this intriguing concept could generate further buzz and make an impact.
The family business has come a long way from when it was founded in September 2010. Based in Minneapolis, MN, Bōbiam continues to grow in the number of Youth Artists featured within the company. We embrace the fact that they are all unique and gifted, just like Liam. We offer apparel for men, women and children, as well as canvases and accessories such as phone covers and coffee mugs. Our exclusive merchandise meshes quality with inspiring designs created by artists ages eighteen and younger.
You can make a difference!
For every product sold, we donate a share of those profits to our partner, Free Arts Minnesota. Also, you will be supporting the Youth Artist behind that particular piece – They are thrilled when they see a stranger wearing their shirt, as well as the commission check that comes with it!
